Largin Pharma Consulting, under the direction of Laura Larrú, an experienced independent consultant with more than 15 years of experience in the fields of Pharmacovigilance and Regulatory Affairs, was established with her leadership.
Laura has built her career performing various roles in Pharmacovigilance, Medicine, Drug Safety, and Regulatory Affairs in internationally renowned pharmaceutical companies. In 2017, she took the step towards independence as a consultant. Since then, she has collaborated with pharmaceutical companies and CROs, helping them to establish and strengthen their global Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety systems and processes, acting as a local partner in Spain.
She has integrated into an international team of consultants, JPPC Associates, where she plays a fundamental role in providing solutions for global companies and those based in the U.S., addressing aspects such as regulatory compliance, supplier oversight, key performance indicators (KPI), gap analysis and correction, signal detection, Safety Data Exchange Agreements (SDEA), training, SOPs, and corporate policies.
Laura possesses a deep knowledge of the EMA and international regulations and guidelines (ICH, CIOMS, FDA), supported by a solid background in quality systems, GVP requirements, and processes related to Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety.
Since 2013, she has been a lecturer in postgraduate programs and master's degrees in the pharmaceutical industry at the University of Barcelona.
She holds a degree in Biology (specialization in Biomedicine) and a master's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Barcelona (UB). Part of her master's research project was carried out at the Dutch Cancer Institute (NKI).
